Frequently Asked Questions

When can we arrange for a food tasting session?

A food tasting session (for up to six persons) can be arranged for any time Monday to Thursday, up to one month before your wedding in Thailand. This is once the letter of agreement has been signed with the resort. Your resort wedding planner will call you three months prior to the wedding to arrange a date for the food tasting. If you would like to have the session earlier than this, this can be arranged.

Is it possible to have Halal food served at our wedding in Thailand?

While there is no Halal certified kitchen at our resort in Phuket, we do provide no pork no lard menus. Should you wish to serve Halal food, we can hire MUIS for food cleansing (additional charges apply).

Do you offer special menus for Muslim and vegetarian wedding guests?

Yes, we can cater to your Muslim and vegetarian guests. Please ask your resort wedding planner for the Muslim and vegetarian menus. This will be an additional THB 300++ per person for a five-course Muslim set lunch/dinner or a six-course vegetarian set lunch/dinner.

Is there a corkage charge and if so, how much is this?

Corkage will be waived for all sealed duty-paid hard liquor. For wine and champagne, yes there is a corkage fee of THB 500++ per bottle.

What is the ‘guaranteed guest count’?

The ‘guaranteed guest count’ refers to the number of people who will be attending the wedding banquet. This figure allows us to make adequate preparations for your wedding in Thailand, including the number of food portions prepared, staff in attendance and other support activities.

We kindly request that you inform us of the ‘guaranteed guest count’ no later than seven days prior to your wedding. Your ‘guaranteed guest count’ can be increased up until the day prior to your wedding in Thailand. You will be charged for the ‘guaranteed guest count’ number or the number of guests served, whichever is greater.

What is the amount required as a payment deposit and when is it due?

Once you have chosen the date for your wedding in Thailand, we will send you a letter of agreement by mail or email. A signed copy of this – along with the first deposit – must be received by the resort within seven days to confirm your booking. This first deposit is equal to the total cost of a guaranteed reservation for the first night’s accommodation.

A second deposit equal to 50% of your total estimated charges is due 60 days prior to the event, followed by the balance of these estimated charges and the final guestroom list 30 days prior to the event. The balance – with any additional charges incurred – is settled upon the group’s departure.

Payments can be made by cash, credit card (Visa, American Express…..) or cheque.

Does the wedding package price include applicable government taxes and service charge?

No. The wedding package price is subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes in Phuket.
